Leaving News 8

I will be leaving News 8 early in April to pursue other opportunities, including storm chasing around the country this spring. My last day will be Friday, April 4th. This is the start of what should be an exciting new chapter in my life and career. I’ve constantly dreamed about chasing storms since I was a kid and now I will get to be out in the field firsthand in the coming weeks.

I can’t thank News 8 enough for providing me with such opportunities as helping with the launch of WXedge.com and getting to work closely some very talented meteorologists. The nearly two and a half year career I had was full of learning and memorable experiences.

I am a meteorologist and storm chaser who travels around North America documenting, photographing and researching severe weather. I earned a B.S. in Meteorology at Western Connecticut State University in 2009 and my professional weather forecasting experience includes time with The Weather Channel, WTNH-TV and WREX-TV.
